The team has played in Progressive field. The team has established in the year of 1894 and they won two world series championships in 1901 since their establishment. The name was originates  from a request by the club owner to decide a new name in the following year 1914. they have nicknamed “the Tribe and the “Wahoos”.The team has won seven Al Central titles, the most in the division.
The color of the team are navy blue, red and white. The Manager of the team is Manny Acta and the team has eight coaches. The club nickname and its logo have been criticized for perpetuating indian sterotypes.
The latest of the season 2010 marks 110th season for the franchise,the teamwill play all of its home games at Progessive field and it will be the 2nd season of the Indian playing their spring trainning games. The team has very good players and they have a very big sport of their fans.
